Talulah Belle
(Downtown Rochester)
Talulah Belle Boutique in downtown Rochester has an unexpected charm around every well-appointed corner. The relaxed southern “stay awhile” peace and grace of the place is hard to put into words. The gifts are as beautiful, as they are practical.
I’d be amiss not to explain that this shop is in “the heart of the historic Rochester shopping and dining district.” An experience! During the holidays, a memorable, enchanting, bright light extravaganza. All that, combined with the boutique’s free gift-wrapping year-round service, you just can’t go wrong!
Amy Fonville, founder, is as kind as she is brilliantly artistic. Her staff radiates the same vibe. It’s no wonder they have such a huge fan base and a known reputation for supporting the community.
What does Amy say about us? -” Mend on the Move pieces are among my favorites in Michigan. The pieces are artistic, great Michigan materials, fresh new designs that are cool to wear. The styles often have a little bit of an industrial town feel. A super authentic company.”
What do we say about Amy and her boutique: As Joanne, our founder at Mend on the Move explains, “Talulah Belle has been one of our long-standing retailers and supporters. Amy understands the importance of sharing the Mend story in selling the product, which is why Talulah Belle has been one of our most successful retailers. They have been a great partner in helping share our mission with the community.”
Amy loves to hear the inspiration from her vendors, who are trying to make the world a better place through their work. If shoppers inquire, the staff will tell the story behind the piece. Her boutique is an extension of “that better place in the world.” Check out their website and blog: talulahbelle.com
